INTERESTING DEATHS
With more than 170 deaths, Bronx Warriors 2 has its fair share of gruesome kills.
Here are the most inventive:
BENDY MAN
After Trash dispatches Sky
Boy 3 with some well-placed high-ex
rounds one bloke flies out of the
wreckage with his limbs turned to
rubber (presumably from fear).
BASEBALL BAT IN FACE
Not one to give up his
home without a fight, Trash Sr puts paid to two Disinfestors
with well aimed
slugs causing the visors to shatter in glorious slo-mo.
LET'S ROCK!
Daft enough to loot
Trash's parent's flat and THEN stupid enough to
attack their very pissed-off son. Blasted 3 times,
this wretch comes to rest on an antique rocking
chair.
VISIBLE BULLET WOUNDS
Not investing in the
self-repairing clothes so beloved of Bronx denizens
these two die with
visible hits (the guy on the right appears to be wearing
cotton wool if
the snowstorm is anything to go by).
STABBED!
Bored of using firearms this rebel resorts to a blade to take out a Nasty.
HOSTAGES RIGGED WITH BOMBS
Part of Wangler's rather
extreme counter measures to quash
Trash's rebellion. This guy runs directly at a Disinfestor
so
the blast takes them both
in a shower of offal. Very gory
and formerly
censored on all pre-2004 UK
releases.
THE LAKE OF FIRE
Strolling down a sewage
tunnel a squad of Disinfestors
fall foul of one of
Strike's booby traps when he
lobs a lit
cigarette onto a gasoline-soaked
river of effluence. Last
to die is
this wuss who shrieks like a girl.
ELECTRIFIED RAIL TRACK
Psychoic pre-teen
bomber Strike Jr wires up
the Manhattan express
line with 20,000 volts and
gleefully fries 6 of the NYPD's finest
(who needed
a haircut anyway).
IF YOU PLAY WITH MATCHES....
Poor Jay. Not only does he
have to put up with the cadaverous Moon's
constant yapping he gets caught
snapping pics of the Bronx Evacuation
and pays for it with a roasting.
TRAMPOLINE BOMB
Victims of a well lobbed
grenade from Dablone, these two fly up
in the air as if fired from a catapult.
ENJOY YOUR TRIP?
THE best scene of the
movie. Prior to being machine
gunned in the back by Trash, these
unfortunate goons are
waylaid by a conveniently placed drainpipe.
FORCED TO SHOOT BUDDY
Reminiscent of the bar
room brawl from Raiders
of the Lost Ark, this
poor sod is forced to mow
down his
pal before having his arm broken
(which makes a rather loud crunch).
EXPLODING BACKPACK 1
Flamed by Trash during an ambush, this guy goes out in a blaze of gory.
EXPLODING BACKPACK 2
Found flaming two cowering
rebels by
Strike, this chap pays dearly with a shotgun
shell in his napalm
YEEUUCH!
When Strike runs out of
ammo he resorts to
using his shotgun as a club, reducing this fella's
face
to a mushy, red pulp.
HELMET KATA
Surely deserving of its
own Martial Art, this rather inventive
form of attack sees Trash twatting 3 nasties with the bloke
on the left's skid lid.
